Jade is also new to the neighborhood. She’s originally from Thailand, but lived the first years of her life in an orphanage in New York. She was recently adopted by a family that moved a few houses down the street because they needed more space when Jade joined their family. She’s quick to be careful and slow to trust anyone. She wants to believe that a forever family is real but can’t quite wrap her head around being loved unconditionally. But still…. she’s hopeful.
